ブシュロン製の長方形ヴァニティケース。蓋部分には、銀に金メッキを施した精巧な透かし細工が全面に広がり、草花や鳥のモチーフが優雅に表現されています。随所に配されたカボションカットのルビーが、装飾に華やかなアクセントを添えています。下地のミラーに装飾が映り込むことで、モチーフが重なり合い、奥行きと立体感を生み出しています。周囲には磨き上げられた金の縁取りが施され、全体を引き締める上品な仕上がりです。

内部は中央から左右に開く構造となっており、開閉式シャッターの内側には2枚のミラーを装備。蝶番付きのパウダーコンパートメントを2つ備えるほか、口紅ホルダー、シガレットホルダーなどを内蔵し、当時のミノディエールならではの高い機能性を備えています。開閉部には、操作性に優れた波状の隆起を持つサムピース（親指掛け）が設けられています。

A rectangular vanity case by Boucheron. The lid is decorated with an exquisitely executed parcel-gilt silver openwork panel, finely engraved with floral and bird motifs, accented throughout with cabochon-cut rubies. The pierced decoration is laid over a mirrored ground, creating a layered effect that enhances the sense of depth and relief. The composition is framed by a polished gilt border, lending the piece an elegant and refined appearance.

The interior opens from the centre to either side, fitted with hinged mirrored shutters enclosing two mirrors. It comprises two hinged powder compartments, a lipstick holder and a cigarette holder, exemplifying the sophisticated functionality characteristic of Boucheron minaudières of the period. The case is fitted with a reeded thumbpiece designed for ease of opening.
