1950〜1960年代頃に制作された、
グリポア・ガラスのブルーカボションを配した多連パールネックレスです。

本作は量産品ではなく、
当時のグリポア工房における限定的なシリーズ制作によるもので、
ガラスの色調や表情に見られる微細な差異は、
手仕事によるグリポア技法の本質を物語っています。

深みのあるブルーのガラスカボションは、
金色合金の台座に一点ずつ手作業でセットされ、
光の角度により色彩の濃淡と奥行きを変える、
グリポア特有の豊かな表情を備えています。

複数連で構成された模造パールは、
1950〜60年代のフランス・コスチュームジュエリーに通底する
構築的でありながら柔らかな量感を生み出します。

A multi-strand pearl necklace created in the circa 1950s–1960s,
featuring deep blue Gripoix glass cabochons.

This piece was not mass-produced,
but made as part of a limited workshop series.
Subtle variations in the colour and surface of the glass
are inherent to the hand-crafted Gripoix technique.

Each blue glass cabochon is individually set into a gilt alloy mount,
displaying the distinctive depth and tonal richness
for which Gripoix glass is renowned.

The layered strands of faux pearls create generous volume and fluid movement,
reflecting the sculptural elegance characteristic of mid-20th-century couture jewellery.
